Elmo Loves You! (Sesame Street) [Paperback]

This cute little board book was quick to become a favorite in our ELMO-LOVING household. Filled with scenes of the Sesame Street gang in familiar settings, your child will love hearing you read the simple rhymes on each page, i.e., "Bert loves pigeons, and pigeons love to coo. Can you guess who Elmo loves? Elmo loves you!"

The story explains how everyone and everything loves something, from babies loving noise and toys, to penguins loving the snow. The adorable pages will come to life and you'll find your child returning to this book just to pick out all their favorite things like Big Bird and Grover in the swimming pool, Ernie playing the drums, and other favorite characters shopping with Mommy in the grocery store.

This book was mainly advertised in book stores for Valentine's Day, but it really is appropriate any time, teaching children about love all year round.

Fisher-Price Disney's Dance Star Mickey

Dance Star Mickey is simply the must own toy for the holiday season in 2010. If you have the money or if you love Mickey Mouse, you will not find a better toy. It's so worth it. The motion is absolutely breath taking. There are six different dances including a cool moonwalk and 2 interactive games called Freeze and Mickey Says. My favorite part: When Mickey talks and sings his mouth opens and closes with each word. It's completely in-synch. I'm not afraid to admit it but Mickey has cooler moves than me. The folks at Fisher-Price have outdone themselves.

There is no way to describe how amazing this toy is until you see it for yourself. No matter what your age Dance Star Mickey will make you smile. Even after reading how amazing it was, it still blew me away. Very few products do that.

Platinum All-Time Favorites

This CD is timeless. If you have young children, or just want to relive your own childhood days, I highly recommend it.

But beware, your kids may not want to listen to anything other than this disc. Whenever I attempt to put a new CD into the CD player, my two year old child picks this CD off the rack and asks me to play it - "This CD, Daddy? - How 'bout this one?" I usually accommodate him. This CD brings back wonderful childhood memories for me, and is much more tolerable than Barney and Friends.

Even though he very rarely watches the Television Program or videos, our son knows and sings along to almost all of the songs - and so do my wife and I. This CD is truly something the whole family can enjoy. It also has educational benefits, having helped my child continue to develop his vocabulary. I love hearing my son say - "What an absolutely marvelous wonderful word" from the beginning of the ABC song. As soon as the first note of the Theme song begins, his face lights up, no matter what he was doing. The song literally brings a smile to his face and chases the frowns away. That in turn brings a smile to my face. He giggles and laughs as he sings along to "Who Are the People In Your Neighborhood". I even discovered him having a conversation with Ernie (in the speakers) when the "Rubber Duckie" song came on. And while I'm not a big fan of Elmo's voice, my two year old loves singing Elmo's Song. There is something special about seeing your child enjoy the music you enjoyed as a child.

We make our own homemade compilation CDs for car trips, which allows us to take our favorite children's songs and mix them up with some classical music. One or two children's songs followed by one or two classical pieces makes for a nice mix, and makes car trips less stressful for the family.

Fisher-Price Sesame Street Singing Pizza Elmo

My daughter just opened a pickup/delivery pizza place. She has Elmo standing on the front counter for all to enjoy. He us just so cute and sings great too. So does the pizza! She didn't want to destroy all of the surroundings that came with the box so she just cut off the top of the box and he is now displayed with the pizza boxes that came with him, and back of the box scenery. However, For anyone getting this for their child, I think they will be taking the batteries out after a couple of days. I think it's a great novelty.

Chica Plush from The Sunny Side Up Show on Sprout - 13 Inches

We just got our Chica yesterday morning. I have a son, it's very hard for him to connect and love any stuffed animal. He is in LOVE!! He slept with her last night. My wife and I heard over the baby monitor "good night Chica, I love you". LOL! I highly recommend this plush to anyone with a kiddo that loves "The Sunny Side Up Show". Awesome product. Sesame Street Beanbags

I bought this small Cookie Monster for my brother as he has other small Sesame Street characters. He loves his Cookie Monster!

It is small enough for small hands to grasp and hang onto without having to drag it around. Very compact and fit perfectly under his arm. While Cookie Monster is small, he is very durable as he gets a work out from my brother during the day but under his arm when he is asleep.
Very nice little toy for a toddler.

Munchkin Sesame Street Toddler Fork and Spoon, Elmo

I really like this little Elmo spoon and fork. They're well made and sturdy, and the fork is sharp enough to pick up food but blunt enough to be safe. However, it was apparently the wrong gift for my toddler because he gets so excited to hold Elmo, that he doesn't want to eat anymore. So if your toddler is easily distracted from eating or is Elmo-crazy, you might want to have him use it just for snacks or as toys.

This was a very cute candle for my daughter's 2nd birthday cake, but before ordering, I didn't notice in the photo that there's no stump on the bottom to stick into the cake. We made do, but it was hard to get it to stand up without falling over.
